Platerage is pleased to announce a new partnership with Carbonfund.org. Platerage.com will be offsetting a small amount of CO2 per Rage submitted to the website on behalf of its users via a donation to Carbonfund.org. In exchange, Carbonfund.org will provide offsets at a rate of $10.00 per metric ton of CO2, guaranteeing that tons of CO2 purchased and retired on behalf of Platerage.com and its users, are real and verifiable, and guarantees that these tons are not double counted.
Since the main topic of Platerage.com in essence is automobiles, we thought it would be fitting to begin to offset some of the emissions produced by these very same automobiles causing the rages! Now, every rage posted or vented on Platerage.com not only potentially saves one physical road rage confrontation, it also helps to offset some of the CO2 being released into our atmosphere! We are very excited with this partnership, and feel that it is only the tip of the iceberg in Platerage.coms positive growth!!
